We ordered glasses for my 12-year-old, excited about the virtual try-on, but he immediately had trouble seeing. As it turns out, the pupil distance (PD) was incorrect – something they just assumed because their site doesn't prompt you for it! If you don’t know to provide it, they will just assume a value, which will be wrong for many buyers. And if you think reaching a human to fix this is easy, think again; you will never be able to reach a human at glassesusa and have a real phone conversation. I felt compelled to leave this review and engage with customer service because dealing with this error and their unresponsive system was an absolute nightmare.
Customer: "Hello, I'm calling because the glasses I ordered for my son have the wrong pupil distance. He can't see properly with them." CS Rep: "I'm very sorry to hear that, sir. I understand this is frustrating. Can I please get your order number so I can look into this for you?" Customer: "It's [Order Number]. The issue is the PD was assumed, and now it's incorrect. We've had it checked by our doctor. How can we get this corrected?" CS Rep: "Thank you. I see the details here. We apologize for the inconvenience with the PD. We can arrange for a remake with the correct PD. You would need to return the original pair first." Customer: "So he'll be without glasses while we wait? And how long will this whole process take? I'm worried about getting a working link for the exchange and actually speaking to someone again." CS Rep: "I understand your concern about the wait time.
